I trekked the 2 hours it takes to go from my doorstep to my sister's porch in Vienna, VA using a mix of foot, rail and car last night to spend time with her, Alan and my parents. After our traditional 5pm tea and snacks (the equivalent of the Lindsay "hour of gracious living," sans alcohol), my dad abruptly announced to my mom, "Asha, my soul has broken.

Perhaps it's because myChef was founded by two female MBAs (note: ratio of women to men in business school is roughly 30:70, and according to The Journal of American Enterprise Institute, women are 60% less likely than men to go into business for themselves), or perhaps it's because Katie and I both hail from Corporate Social Responsibility backgrounds and wanted to "do good while doing well," (NB, the latter still to be achieved).
